Stephanie Brown is a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) in the Commonwealth of VA who is dedicated to helping people from diverse backgrounds reach their personal and relational goals and lead more satisfying lives. Stephanie is a trauma-informed, sex positive, LBGTQIA+ inclusive, neurodivergent affirming clinician who specializes in supporting clients dealing with issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, addiction, attention deficits, substance use, stress management, relationship issues and life transitions.
She has experience working in school, community, and private practice settings. In the school setting, she's worked as high school special education teacher at a DC Charter School and an IEP Placed Alternative Day school. As a school social worker, Stephanie provided individual, group, and family counseling at a special education therapeutic day school designed for adolescents with emotional, learning and behavioral challenges.
Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor degree in Psychology and earned her Master of Social Work degree from George Mason University. She is a Level 1 IFS Therapist and Nationally Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She has additional training in DBT and Play Therapy.

Jennifer Hugel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia. She has clinical experience working with adolescents, adults, and families. Jennifer graduated from George Mason University with her masters degree in Social Work in 2012. She utilizes an integrative and strength-based approach to therapy incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Jennifer specializes in many areas to include and not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, developmental disabilities, and substance use.
